She let the broom and dustpan skitter loudly across the floor as she fell to her knees.

The woman, somewhere between middle-aged and elderly, let the broom and dustpan skitter loudly across the floor as she fell to her knees.

Her shoulders jerked a couple of times.

Then, she threw her head back and screamed with all the pain in her soul.
